Verified Beef Production (VBP) is Canada's nationally recognized HACCP-based, audited on-farm food safety program for beef. Officially recognized by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, the VBP program is a producer-led program designed to help implement and verify the good on-farm production practices that minimize food safety risks. The program includes formalized standard operating procedures for:
